Hoppy hops by himself on every hiccup. Press and hold anywhere to hold your breath: each beat you hold is swallowed and his cheeks puff up. Let go to fire one bigger hic (Medium, Big, MEGA). Hold too long and he bursts! Holding also keeps him low, under branches and herons. Release right on the beat for a PERFECT.

Phones and especially Bluetooth headphones add a small delay. Open Settings > Calibrate, tap along with the 8 ticks, and save. You can fine-tune with the minus / plus buttons. Wired headphones or the phone speaker give the tightest timing; with Bluetooth, calibrate again whenever you switch devices.

Try Settings > Assist mode: wider timing windows, one extra swallow before bursting and a slightly slower tempo. Zen mode has no deaths at all. Every stretch of the endless world is checked to be passable on the beat.

Reduced motion (no shake, no slow motion), reduce flashing, big text, colour-safe hazards (red-white outlines), beat buzz (a light vibration on every beat) and haptics can all be switched in Settings.

Open Settings > Restore purchases (also in the Shop), signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. Remove Ads, the Starter Pack frog and voice, and an active Hop Pass come back. Flies are consumable and are not restored, but your progress also comes back automatically from the cloud backup when you are online.

Make sure you are online, then use Restore purchases. Still missing? Email us with your player ID and the order number from your store receipt.

Subscriptions are managed by the store: iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions; Android Google Play > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. You keep the pass until the end of the paid month.

Settings > Privacy lets you allow or refuse personalised ads and analytics at any time. The game works the same either way.

In the game: Settings > Delete my data removes everything on the phone and, when online, the cloud backup and leaderboard entries. By email: send your player ID to jonas.b3n@gmail.com with the subject "Hiccup Hop data deletion"; we delete it within 30 days. More in the privacy policy.
