hh-3f2a…). It is not linked to your device, name or any account; it only lets us find your data if you ask us to delete it.| What | Why | Who processes it | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anonymous player ID (random, created by Unity Authentication) | Identify your cloud backup and leaderboard entries | Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services) | When online |
| Game progress (the same data as on your device) | Cloud backup and restore | Unity Cloud Save | When online |
| Daily Hiccup and endless scores, with an automatically generated nickname | Leaderboards | Unity Leaderboards | When you finish a Daily Hiccup or an endless run |
| Gameplay events (for example "run started", "level finished", "purchase result"), device model, OS version, country | Understanding which worlds and levels are too hard or too easy; fixing problems | Unity Analytics | Only with consent where required; never after you opt out |
| Advertising ID (GAID / IDFA), IP address, device information, ad interactions | Showing ads, measuring them, preventing fraud; personalised ads only if you allow them | Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) and the ad networks it mediates | When an ad is requested or shown (only between runs, or when you choose to watch one) |
| Purchase receipts and an anonymous RevenueCat customer ID | Checking purchases, restoring them, managing the Hop Pass subscription | Google Play / Apple App Store, RevenueCat | When you buy or restore |
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, microphone, precise location or any account details. The calibration screen only measures the timing of your taps inside the app.
Open Settings > Delete my data: the game deletes everything on your device and, when online, your cloud backup and your Unity player account (which also removes your leaderboard entries).
Prefer email, or already uninstalled the game? Write to jonas.b3n@gmail.com with the subject "Hiccup Hop data deletion" and the player ID shown in Settings > Privacy. We delete the cloud copy, leaderboard entries and analytics linked to that ID within 30 days and reply when it is done. Without the ID we cannot find your data, because we never collect your name or email in the game.
Ad networks and the stores keep their own records under their own policies; you can reset your advertising ID as described above.
Cloud backup, leaderboards and purchase checks: performing our contract with you (providing the game). Analytics and personalised ads: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Non-personalised ads and fraud prevention: our legitimate interest in keeping the game free and safe.
Hiccup Hop is a cute game that everyone can play, but it is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (16 in some EEA countries). It is not part of Google Play's "Designed for Families" program or Apple's Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you are a parent and believe your child used the game and data was collected, email us and we will delete it. Parents can also turn off personalised ads from Settings > Privacy and restrict purchases with the store's parental controls.
Our service providers may process data outside your country (for example in the USA) under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing. Email us with your player ID. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
If this policy changes we update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the game.
